About the business and the role

 

Vitality Club is an innovative start-up in Aged Care that was founded 5 years ago and has grown considerably, now servicing the entirety of Sydney. We aim to keep seniors healthy and active primarily through Government contracts under the My Aged Care system, including Regional Assessment Services and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to spur on our company's growth through developing referral pathways and strong partnerships with GPs, community organisations, and through tendering and the development of new business streams including Home Care Packages and the NDIS.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, agile environment that makes a difference in how care services are delivered in the community. This is an ideal role for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys creating and fostering partnerships, and has high-level communication and written skills.

Job tasks and responsibilities

About the Role:

  • Developing strong networks and relationships relevant to the development of Vitality Club business strategies.

  • Working with the management team to create additional business streams and the expansion of existing business.

  • Achieving individual and team sales and activity targets.

  • Sourcing, drafting, and submitting tender and grant applications relevant to the growth and expansion of Vitality Club.

  • Monitoring and aligning progress against the Vitality Club marketing, sales, and business development strategies.

Skills and experience

About You:

  • Previous experience and demonstrated success in business development and sales.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills, with high attention to detail.

  • Exceptional customer service, negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Excellent ability to connect with multiple stakeholders and think commercially.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle a varied task load.

  • Case management experience and knowledge of the My Aged Care and NDIS systems preferred.

  • Health care or allied health background desired but not compulsory.

  • Own car, relevant insurances, and valid drivers licence required
