We are currently seeking a driven and motivated forklift sales specialist to sell and promote our range of Manitou and Kalmar industrial and big truck forklift equipment. If you are enthusiastic, passionate and innovative you have the opportunity to earn in excess of $100,000 pa.
The Role
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Achieving sales in accordance with defined targets
- This on the road role has a strong focus on talking to customers. It will suit a person with solid outbound skills who isn't afraid to make contact with prospects
- Finding and developing new business opportunities for sales and hire with existing and new customers
- Preparation of sales and hire quotes and tenders and subsequent negotiations with customers
- Preparing appropriate documentation and keeping in touch with customers to modify proposals/contracts, as required, and maintaining contact with the customer through to delivery of the product
- Reporting on customer calls, product requirements and providing regular progress reports and sales outlooks
- Maintaining good customer relationships by following up any complaints about company products and aim for satisfactory solutions for both LiftRite and the customer
- Observing competitor activities and market trends through personal contact with customers and attending industry associated meetings, seminars and trade functions to receive market intelligence
- Promoting our Manitou and Kalmar range of products
Desired Criteria As Follows Would Be Well Received
- Demonstrated sales experience in industrial or large forklifts
- Excellent communication skills
- Great follow-up and follow-through skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Self-motivation and a positive attitude
- Desire to succeed and a strong work ethic
- Close attention to detail
- Computer skills
- Technical knowledge of, or familiarity with, industrial or big forklift trucks
- Ability to ‘think outside the box’
Essential Requirement
- Current driver's licence
