Property Assistant Position located in Dandenong for Globally Renowned Company!

Your new company
Your New Company is a global market leader that has experienced considerable growth year on year, and this isn’t stopping any time soon! With 70+ stores already in operation and new store openings, refurbishments and projects across Australia, there is a need for a new Property Assistant to come aboard and support the team.

Your new role
Reporting to the Property Director, this role consists of supporting the property team to manage the regions property needs. The Property Assistant role includes but is not limited to;

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders- other departments/regions, property agents, developers, landlords, vendors, engineers, architects, building contractors, lawyers, government bodies, departments and agencies
  • Email and diary management
  • Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, transcribing minutes
  • Assisting in the preparation of finance modelling, forecasting and budgets
  • Drafting and issuing correspondence, preparing property briefs, reports, memos, and presentations
  • Research, analysis and evaluation of data
  • Typing, printing, scanning, copying and binding,
  • Checking and coding incoming invoices, submitting expense claims, reconciling credit card statements
  • Administering the rent review process
  • Establishing regional administration systems and practices


What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for candidates with 5 + years of experience working in a property department. You will need to be highly organised, have strong communication skills as well as the ability to use your initiative and solve challenging problems in a fast paced and ever changing environment. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a knack for working effectively with multiple conflicting tasks and deadlines- then this is the job for you.

The successful candidate will have the following qualities;

  • Exposure to Construction / Property / Legal
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite
  • SAP (is favourable)
  • Team player mentality
