To be successful in this role you will need to come from a B2B sales background and be at the right stage of your career to recognise you are ready to take the next step forward.  You will have to sell yourself, the product and the company on the phone initially to get appointments.  You will meet with prospects, quickly develop rapport and a very keen and well-articulated value proposition that aligns to the business needs of the person you are speaking with.  You will have a high level of self-motivation, you will be comfortable working autonomously and are an expert at managing a sales pipeline.  You will be driven by results and clearly know that this will follow your well planned and energetic market activities.

Your success will be determined by the frequency and volume of the sales you make.  As a professional you understand this.  The remuneration package will be a competitive salary, a company car to get around to all companies you are selling to a realistic commission structure based on volume and for the right person, additional non-financial and financial incentives.

Finally, experience in the media industry is advantageous but not essential.  Your ability to translate opportunity into sales results is what will be most valued.
