North Port Events are the people behind some of NZ's favourite events including The Food Show, Baby Show, Auckland Art Fair, Fine Food NZ, Facilities Integrate and the Waikato Home & Garden Show. The Food Show is New Zealand's premier national food and wine event providing a powerful marketing and selling platform to hundreds of businesses each year. 

We're looking for a motivated and dynamic sales person with a passion for all things food and beverage to join our welcoming and high-performing Food Show team. Your role is B2B sales, selling exhibition space across three annual Food Shows, predominantly over the phone. 


If you are:

·       An experienced and motivated sales person with the ability to win new business as well as to develop strong on-going relationships  

·       Genuinely passionate about all things food and beverage related

·       Comfortable and confident selling in a fast-paced environment over the phone

·       An excellent written and verbal communicator

·       A multi-tasker with excellent organisational skills 

·       Eligible to work in NZ in a permanent role

·       Have a strong work ethic and a positive outlook

Your key responsibilities will include:

·       Achieving sales revenue targets with current exhibitors and new prospects

·       Maintaining a regular pattern of sales calls

·       Attending all three Food Shows to liaise with and assist exhibitors as well as to actively re-book for future shows
