The Company
My client is a market leading food manufacturing business who’re currently experiencing significant growth. Based in regional Victoria, they’re currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic NPD Technologist who will provide support to identify and propose new products.  With instantly recognisable brands supplying various products to the major retailers, food service and export markets they are investing significantly into their site, people and brands.

The Role

• Play a pivotal part on the concept of new products, liaising with marketing, insights, production and quality.
• End to end Product Development from concept through to launch including scale-up, implementation of products into manufacturing and packaging.
• Existing product development in order to improve current portfolio of products.
• Improvement projects in order to improve efficiencies, substitute ingredients or drive down costs.
• Manage factory trials for new products or substitutions.

  
Your Background
To be successful in this role you will previously worked in a similar end to end Product Development role and be proficient in working autonomously on multiple simultaneous projects. You will be degree educated and be passionate about food and new product development. You will have 2-4 years of food technology experience and must have worked in a similar role within FMCG, food or beverage manufacturing.
