Established for 30 years, NutriFresh, a Queensland company, produces meals and food products for the aged care, health, hospitality and retail sectors. We employ a diversely skilled team of personnel to deliver on time and to a high quality standard.
NutriFresh is currently recruiting for a full time, experienced, Nutritional-Product Development Officer to be based at our busy high-volume production kitchen located at Mansfield on Brisbane’s Southside.
Your main responsibilities will include:-
- Maintaining and developing NutriFresh systems, databases and documentation in regard to nutritional information, quality assurance, recipe performance and product development
- Consistent delivery of high quality customer service when liaising with internal and external clients
- Ongoing development of new products and improving the quality of existing products.
To be successful in this role, your skills, experience and attributes will include:-
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Food Technologist in a high volume food production environment
- Food Technology/Food Science qualifications
- Strong understanding and knowledge of food production
- Comprehensive interpersonal skills and a customer-driven focus
- Significant exposure to Quality Assurance systems and HACCP/food safety
- Experience in the use of in recipe databases and labelling software
- High level of written communication skills
- Willingness to engage with clients and attend clients’ food committee meetings
- Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to achieve goals and objectives within a required time frame
- Ability to interpret financial and ingredient analysis to develop proposals
- Keeping track of client feedback, complaints and compliments
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Adherence to NutriFresh policies and procedures.
