Our transport government client is seeking a GIS Consultant to work across an array of spatial project.

This is an initial 3 month contract based in Melbourne CBD.

Responsibilities:

• Basic knowledge of Agile project delivery (SCRUM) methodology to contribute in to project related activities
• Apply competence in the specialist area of spatial services, including the management, integration and analysis of spatial and associated business datasets, and coordinate the presentation of results using quality cartographic, graphical and textual reports that meet the needs of customers.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, and provide sound advice to key stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of and changes to work practices and procedures affecting spatial data management policies and/or cartographic standards and/or spatial systems design and support guidelines.

Skills and experience:

• Spatial database management
• Spatial analysis and insights
• Data validation process and tools.
• ArcGIS platform (Desktop, Server and ArcGIS Online)
• Geocortex platform.
• Understanding in latest geospatial technologies
• Agile project delivery understanding (SCRUM)
• Customer focused
• Innovative thinking in solution design and delivery
• Collaboration, facilitation and engagement with clients
