Spanning almost 3 decades our highly successful client has been responsible for building the dream home for thousands of customers in some of Sydney’s most prestigious areas and beyond.
After winning an array of exciting projects they now require an exceptional, enthusiastic and motivated Development Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management and coordination of various land and development housing projects from acquisition through to registration with specific significance of delivery of project on time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Punctual preparation of the Development Application for each project
• Develop and sustain cash flows and budgets for each individual project
• Monthly reporting on project
• Work with the technical consultants – Surveyors, Architects and Engineers in association with their area of specialisation to ensure the project runs in the most effective
• Analysis of all tender documentation received from external consultants for every project
• Establish strong working relationships with councils and statutory authorities to ensure development applications
• Issue contract acceptance letters
• Work alongside other the other departments within the company to make sure all planning objectives are met

Requirements

• Minimum 3 – 5 years relevant experience
• Surveying or Engineering background desirable
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area advantageous
• Excellent knowledge of industry, competition and legislative requirements
