The primary purpose of the role is to take ownership for the Tenant function of the Property Management Department. Of the 6 main areas – Maintenance, Leasing, Rental Payments, Business Development, Accounting, and Inspections – the Property Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Maintenance, Payments and Leasing, working primarily with owners, tenants and our team of tradesmen / repair people.
To be deemed successful in this role you must be able to monitor and minimize rental arrears; manage break lease requests; and be responsible for maintenance coordination. It is very important to us that the successful person will maintain our office culture of sharing, fun, hard work, pitching in and helping each other out.
About the candidate:
Prior experience in this type of role is essential as is possession of a current Queensland Real Estate Certificate. Knowledge of RTA / Property legislation will be highly regarded.
You must be able to work with minimal supervision, have a high attention to detail and be a champion organiser. You will have strong communication & interpersonal skills and will be task focused and the ability to demonstrate your proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Having daily conversations about money – unpaid rent, invoices and the like – is a real skill, so must be something you are experienced with and comfortable with.
Possession of a clean current C class driver's licence is essential.
