Cushman & Wakefield have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facility Manager to join our team in Brisbane. Your role will be to lead and manage the implementation of the facilities management strategy for nominated property portfolio of the client, in order to ensure standards of quality and business profitability to Cushman & Wakefield, following direction and policies from Cushman & Wakefield.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement the facilities management service, which encompasses ad hoc maintenance, fire, mechanical, electrical support and the help desk function, following environmental safety guidelines.
  • Manage site operations to ensure continuity of property services with minimum disruption to the client’s business operations.
  • Raise work permits including tag out and hot works requirements, sign off work permits and collaborate with Contract Administrator to optimise the work schedule.
  • Conduct and document client meetings with appropriate workstream leaders, Head
  • Contractors regional monthly meetings and attend WIP meetings.
  • Manage and control budget and cost expenditure for facilities management operations for the bank, placing the client first at all times.
  • Deliver on going performance and compliance reporting to all stakeholders, following contract and corporate obligations.
  • Conduct network and non network property inspections and review property operations to ensure cost effectiveness is maximised.
  • Review and update compliance database to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance and conduct Head Contractor and CSC Contractor audits to SLA and Risk Management standards.
  • Process Monthly Head Contractor invoices, general invoices both scheduled and ad hoc and review and approve quotes.
  • Articulate and live the Cushman & Wakefield culture, set an example by modelling the required behaviours and hold others (employees and peers) accountable for their actions by identifying and acting on behaviour which is inconsistent with agreed standards.
  • Motivate direct reports to deliver superior performance by supporting daily performance and providing ongoing mentoring and training.
  • Comply with all Cushman & Wakefield systems used to meet its health and safety obligations.
    Work safely and not put themselves or anyone else’s health or safety at risk by their acts or omissions.
  • Comply with Cushman & Wakefield Environmental policies, and adhere to procedures and work instructions that are relevant to their activities.
    Operate in a manner that will minimise any adverse environmental impacts associated with their activities.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge - electrical, mechanical or engineering background preferred
  • Client relationship experience
  • Knowledge in one of the major core areas, facility management or corporate real estate.
  • Strong administration and PC skills ( word, excel )
  • Strong contractor management experience
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred and a willingness to undertake further study in Facility
  • Management is required
  • Stakeholder management experience
    Self  motivated and flexible
