Advising on Australia’s most significant Corporate/M&A transactions as well as providing tax expertise for domestic businesses, ASX listed companies and internationally listed entities, our client is a highly regarded player in the legal finance game. At present, they have need for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the team on a contract basis (6 or 9 months) bringing with them a professional maturity, experience supporting at a senior level and pro-active go-getter approach. 

Working under 2 directors and a Senior Manager, this role will suit a confident coordinator who is able to work under pressure and anticipate the needs of the team. Prior experience in Corporate/Commercial, Banking & Finance or other transactional legal areas is preferred. 

Duties will include (but not limited to): 

  • Diary management; 
  • Booking travel and accommodation; 
  • Liaising with clients and third parties; 
  • Opening and closing files; 
  • Drafting correspondence; 
  • Reviewing and editing documents; 
  • Billing; 
  • Assisting with internal/external events; 
  • Assisting with in-house training initiatives; and 
  • General administration tasks. 


Required Skills: 

  • Minimum 4 years’ legal secretarial/EA experience; 
  • Excellent computer skills (particularly Excel); 
  • Aderant, FileSite and/or Interaction knowledge advantageous; 
  • Fast and accurate typing; 
  • Billing experience; 
  • Pro-active, can-do attitude; 
  • Confidence dealing at a senior level; and 
  • Team focused and personable.
