Our client is seeking restaurant managers to work on permanent full-time roles in hotels based in Toowoomba & Bowen in Queensland.

As a restaurant manager, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating front and back of the house restaurant operations,
• Engaging with customers regarding concerns, complaints and other queries in a professional manner,
• Regularly reviewing product quality and standards,
• Ensuring that company ethics, policies, procedures and values are met by all employees,
• Organising and allocating shifts appropriately for employees,
• Planning and organising functions and special events,
• Appraising employee performance and providing constructive feedback where necessary to improve workplace productivity,
• Ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations,
• Promoting the restaurant name and brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events,
• Maintaining operational costs and expenses &
• Liaising with the owner, head-chef, other section managers and stakeholders.

To be successful for this role, you will:

• Have previous restaurant management experience (or in a similar field such as a catering operation),
• Have relevant qualifications in management skills (qualifications in hospitality management, marketing, degree in hospitality management or event management will be highly regarded) or equivalent experience,
• Have a strong focus on effective and efficient customer service,
• Be punctual, a strong leader, and an organised individual,
• Be able to demonstrate your ability to make justified decisions regarding pricing, personnel allocation and recruitment,
• Have a strong understanding of the company's values and objectives,
• Be able and willing to work effectively as a team to achieve goals &
• Have access to reliable transport.
