An opportunity exists for an experienced Site Engineer with fitout experience to join our Building team working on the Calvary Hospital, Adelaide. This is going to be the largest Private hospital in South Australia and a $300M build, so an exciting project to be apart of
Key Responsibilities include:
- Possessing a thorough knowledge of the contract, its engineering and technical specifications and any related sub-contract agreements;
- Providing technical advice to the commercial teams throughout the procurement process;
- Controlling, monitoring, reporting and coordinating progress and planning on site generally and including specific areas of work;
- Providing technical and other support to Supervisors and sub-contractors including liaison with consultants to ensure that safety, time, cost and quality objectives are optimized;

Making technical and engineering decisions to ensure that all criteria specified in the contract and applicable to the process (including that of materials and workmanship) are met.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
- Complex building fitout experience
- An absolute commitment to realising our vision of 'No Harm';
- Experience in a similar position and demonstrable achievements within major building projects;
- Proven ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with managers, staff and key stakeholders;
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management and strong career progression; ideally with 2-3 years' experience;
- Experience using Primavera 6 (P6) desirable
- Sound technical knowledge and application;
- Enthusiasm and commitment to make a contribution to the business;
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
