Our Resources team provides a range of electrical engineering design and project management services to mining and resources clients around Australia. 

Due to the growth and success of our SA operations, we are currently searching for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to work on a major project, based within our Resources division.  The position will involve a FIFO arrangement.

About the role:

• Working within a team of engineers to deliver a broad range of multi-discipline engineering projects within the Resources and Energy markets
• Develop PLC, SCADA, DCS system architectures and designs as part of front end studies
• Develop Detailed Function Descriptions
• Be involved in LV electrical reticulation design and instrumentation selection
• Manage and coordinate instrumentation and control systems design packages including building up estimates and bill of materials

About you:

• 10-15+ years’ experience in electrical control systems either from a systems integrator or consultant
• Knowledge of functional safety control systems and standards (preferable)
• Strong client facing skills and eager to be involved in growing the capabilities
• Flexible thinker who can be adaptive to varying scale of projects
• Ability to collaborate and be a team player
