Mechanical Project Design Engineer - 12 Month Contract

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Project Design Engineer to initially design and then project manage a new Reverse Osmosis water filtration plant for their pharmaceutical site in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
 
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, strong written and verbal communication skills are a given. You will be a degree qualified Engineer with the ability to legally work in Australia. Proficient use of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 2D are essential along with experience gained in water filtration and treatment, from either a design or maintenance perspective.
 
Ideally you must be able to take your approved design from concept drawings to commissioning including effective management of all contractors and project milestones. You will interact with a wide range of stakeholders through the process from design to commissioning and be highly valued for your contribution to the company’s continued expansion.
 
You will be working in a highly regulated environment so previous experience in the food and/or pharmaceutical industries with a strong understanding of relevant risk and quality systems, will be essential.
