This role leads and manages the project delivery of a diverse range of complex programs essential for the ongoing capital works of this large precinct scale campus.  This involves responsibility for oversight of both built form and campus infrastructure projects. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Provide discipline specific (civil and hydraulic engineering) and public realm & infrastructure planning advice to assist in the development of the Strategic Asset Management Plan
  • Manage internal and external relationships across multiple complex projects encompassing a diverse range of infrastructure works
  • Formulate, develop and implement strategic initiatives to achieve high quality capital works outcomes
  • Build partnerships and manage a diverse range of specialist personnel and technical staff, external contractors and consultants engaged in delivering capital works projects
  • Oversee the management of contractual and procurement aspects of major infrastructure projects
You will ideally have tertiary qualifications in Hydraulic or Civil Engineering with significant experience in the strategic planning, management and delivery of precinct scale infrastructure projects. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate project management experience with an understanding of statutory and compliance requirements specific to the building industry. The ability to successfully build collaborative and consultative relationships with stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams is also necessary. Experience in the delivery of water treatment projects will also be highly desirable.
 
A salary package (which is inclusive of superannuation) is expected to be within the $134k to $158k range. This organisation values innovation and learning, and offers excellent opportunities for personal growth.
