ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This industry-leading consultancy is looking to engage the expertise of a Senior Structural Engineer/2IC to join it's team in one of their Sydney offices. Having multiple awards to their name, this firm showcases a wealth of residential, commercial, retail and health projects of all sizes. Due to it's reputable presence in the industry, this consultancy have secured a strong pipeline of projects and are looking for a Senior Engineer to lead their team & projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
As a Senior Structural Engineer/2IC, you will work alongside the Team Leader and be involved in the hands on design, project management and engineering of current projects. You will play a pivotal role as the main point of contact for clients and the design team to ensure projects are delivered seamlessly.
DUTIES.
- Join an established team of structural engineers and drafters
- Coordinate and manage the design team to oversee all final designs
- Design diverse multistorey building projects across NSW
- Liaise with clients and architects on a daily basis
- Train junior staff
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Engineering degree qualifications
- Strong communication and business development skills
- Design experience with multistorey structures
- Proficient with RAPT, Strand7 and Inducta software is highly advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of RC & PT concrete and steel structures
