Job Description: (Short Description)

Perform a full lifecycle product development
CNC operation - programming/coding and operating the machine
Create design concepts and transform them to CAD
Develop the designs to meet client expectations
3D model for presentation
Assist with test prototypes
Support in manufacturing and implementation

Qualifications Required:

Trade qualified machinist and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience
Experience with CAD/CAM techniques with experience minimal 3 years
Strong knowledge of CAD software and drafting procedures
Be able to pass a full medical and police check

Key Skills:

Proven CNC experience with both programming/coding and operating the machine
Strong skills in drawing with CAD packages – Solidworks or AutoDesk
Experience with plastics & timber CNC routing preferred
Knowledge of Alphacam essential
Experience in landscaping beneficial.
Takes ownership of projects and able to work to a deadline,
Great eye for detail and commitment to quality.
Able to work unsupervised but also be a team player
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
The ability to inspect and measure components and systematically identify and resolve problems
