The Role
- Managing a team of 30 plus experienced service staff and technicians, reporting to the General Manager, you will be accountable for maintaining excellent working relationships with existing clients and building new client bases, and total revenue.
- Highly visible lead role responsible for development and maintenance of service contract sales.
- Assist mechanical staff in solving technical and operational problems
- Control and maintain all plant and equipment required by service department. Review and recommend replacement or purchase of equipment, tooling , manuals, vehicles, etc.
- In conjunction with head office plan and implement technical and product related training for department staff.
QUALIFICATION, QUALITIES and EXPERIENCE
- Appropriate trade certification.
- A proven track record in service management gained in a hands-on operational environment.
- Experience (3-6 years) in management gained in a mid-sized company with accountability for running line aspects of the service operations.
- Current drivers license
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
