The Company

Our client is one of the largest privately owned manufacturers in their area that prides themselves on their strong reputation of the quality of their products. The business is seeking a highly experienced Reliability Manager who can deliver improvements to plant uptime and scheduled adherence through effective leadership and coaching.

The Role
 
Reporting to the Engineering Manager your will be responsible for:

• Driving maintenance improvements by implementing new systems and strategies.
• One of the key focuses will also be managing system compliance and integrity and providing training to your group on the CMMS system.
• Preparing and project managing major plant shutdowns
• Pro-actively engage with relevant stakeholders primarily being maintenance trades and production to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are carried out in full and in a timely manner.
• You will also be responsible for driving improvements in their long term maintenance plans and providing visibility of overall equipment effectiveness.

Your Background

In order to be successful in this role you will:

• Be Trade qualified or have a degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Have proven experience within a large and complex manufacturing business as in a similar role.
• A background of implementing and managing a CMMS system, ideally MAXIMO or MEX.
• Proven experience developing a preventative maintenance environment.
