Your new role
Your new position will see you effectively managing environmental projects and contracts through all stages of delivery to achieve time, quality and budget objectives. Planning and undertaking field investigations - You will partake in soil, surface and groundwater sampling, site history investigations, logging of subsurface conditions, construction inspections and supervision, assisting with tender preparation, proposal and report writing. Additionally, you will be developing specifications, technical investigations, contracts and other service delivery arrangements for Environmental projects, programs and initiatives, ensuring service provider compliance with specifications through appropriate controls.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have the following;

  • Qualified Civil Engineer
  • Demonstrated post graduate experience with the understanding and application of environmental legislation, policy, planning and impact assessments.
  • You will also need practical experience in a similar position as well as well-developed people and relationship building and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Particular expertise, knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded: air, water, noise, waste, chemicals, hazardous materials, radiation and planning.
