ABOUT THE COMPANY.
A growing construction company, established for over 5 years, with strong networks and Client relationships. They specialises in the delivery of high-end residential homes, townhouses and low scale apartments projects valued up to $10M. This company known for delivering projects at a very high quality, within time and cost constraints, providing them a strong name in the market, and allowing for repeat Clients.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
Reporting to the Project Manager/Director, as a Construction Graduate / Cadet you will be put through a tailored training program teaching you the various aspects of construction. You will gain exposure to Estimation, Project Management and Site Management. You will be based in the Chatswood area, working on various scale projects that are across Sydney's lower North Shore and Eastern Suburbs.
DUTIES.
- Cost estimation
- Prepare BOQ's
- Procurement
- Compiliing tenders
- Contract letting
- Negotiations
- Creating programs
- Invoicing
- Contractor management
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Completed or in last year studying a Bachelor of Construction Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated and energetic approach to work
- A keen learner with a passion in Building and Construction
- Practical construction exposure will be advantageous
