The Company
Our client is a major civil contractor who have recently won a large road project in New South Wales. They typically deliver multi-million-dollar civil infrastructure projects and their work includes rail, road and water works. They have a need for an Environmental Engineer on a landmark road project worth $125 million in New South Wales and they require somebody who has the drive to manage larger scale works. With an unrivalled ability to deliver major civil infrastructure and a history of successful project delivery across the country, this contractor can ensure further career development on long-term works. 

The Role
Working closely with the Project Managers, Construction Manager and the Systems Manager you will take a lead and be the Environmental champion across this market-leading project. Liaising with Engineers and Supervisors, you will help ensure that best practice environmental systems are put in place as the business increases in size. As you grow within the business, you will have the opportunity over time to build a team of people who report to you.

To be successful in this role you should have;

• Bachelor’s in environmental engineering or equivalent
• have worked on major civil infrastructure projects
• an ability to form strong relationships with multifaceted site teams
• excellent communication skills
• strong client relationship skills
