What's the role?

As an Agribusiness Manager, you will be part of an existing team in a regional centre managing a growing portfolio of agribusiness clients. The set covers a wide range of predominantly pre-farmgate customers, with a focus on Grazing/livestock, sheep, beef, Abalone and vegetable growers. This role will extend through East Gippsland and into the mountain areas of Omeo and up the coast to Mallacoota whilst being based in Bairnsdale. Using your business development and relationship management skills, you will provide financial advisory services, fully integrated financial solutions and risk management for customers. You will ensure success through understanding our client's unique businesses, communicating effectively, making timely decisions, utilising your strong commercial acumen and driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced banking professional with relevant tertiary qualifications or further study in agriculture, your passion for agribusiness and farm management practices will ensure your success in managing and growing a portfolio of agribusiness clients. Your success in this role will progress your career to the next level within this highly successful Agribusiness team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating business growth opportunities through existing and prospect customer relationships
• Utilising your networks within pre-farm gate and post-farm gate local markets
• Maintaining and enhancing the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
• Developing and improving professional excellence through management of individual and team performance
• Coaching support staff where applicable
