This Stockbroker/Funds Management Company has a reputation as being a leader in their field and continues to grow from strength to strength. As a result of this continued strong growth they have an immediate need for an Equity Operations Officer with a passion for financial markets and a desire to build a career within operations.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that:
• All Asset & Cash holdings within the reporting platform are reconciled on a daily basis with any exception investigated and managed accordingly. 
• Managed Fund commission files are reconciled and correctly inputted into the Brokers internal commission system. 
• Reconstruction of historical cost base information for all assets at inception for the purpose of Capital Gains Tax reporting.
• Basic understanding of Corporate Actions and their effect on cost history. 
• The processing of Fixed Income (new & rolling Term Deposit) instructions including the completion of applications and arrange funding. 

To be considered for this position you will have you strong CGT, Accounting Corporate Actions and Fixed Interest administration experience gained from within a Funds Management, Custody or Stockbroking environment. You will need to have a strong understanding of historical cost base information and fee processing for the purpose of CGT reporting.
