•               Full time, 12 month fixed term/Secondment opportunity

 

The Rural Bank Operations division are looking for Agribusiness Credit Assessor’s to join our Operations Team. The roles are for 12 months, with an opportunity to be extended.

As part of the Operations team you’ll be helping all our customers from our large family corporates to farmers looking to grow. You will record and action transactions, prepare documentation and attend to settlements. Your efficiency will help Australian farmers focus on the future.

Reporting to the Lending Manager Government Services, the Agribusiness Credit Assessor’s (ACA) is responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient service and support to farmers seeking to apply for assistance through the various government support schemes available throughout Australia with the principal objectives focused on the following activities:

  • High quality analysis of customer information as provided through their applications and through customer interview processes,
  • Preparation and recommendation of loan submissions and general administration activities
  • Annual review of established customer accounts and support to the processing of variations to account terms and securities as required
  • Management of customer arrears,
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Operations staff and Government representatives as required.

Experience & Qualification requirements:

  • Experience in an agribusiness customer management environment (e.g. agribusiness credit, lending, sales)
  • Experience in financial or banking environment
  • An understanding of the Agribusiness environment would be desirable but not essential
  • AFS Tier 2 accreditation (Financial Services Reform Act) desirable
  • Computer skills in applications and business systems
