Accounts Receivable Manager

Our client requires an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join a close knit team committed to service delivery excellence.

This position has a primary responsibility to:

• Perform and manage the accounts receivable function to ensure customer payments are made within approved terms.
• Ensure processing of new credit applications in line with company policy including appropriate authority signoff for provision of credit terms, appropriate credit checks are performed, and ensuring completeness of information.
• Manage timely reconciliation of all debtor payments, including following up processing of credits, promotional claims and communication to the customer to rectify any errors.
• Provide cross functional accounts receivables support to business, including answering enquiries on company process, policies and staff training as required.
• Manage automatic direct debit process, including retention of documentation and compliance with banking requirements.
• Oversee collection and retention of delivery documentation including run manifests, proof of deliveries and consignment notes.
• Prepare reports as required to assess accounts receivable performance and support bad debt write offs.
• Provide leadership and supervision to 1 Accounts receivable officer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication a must
