Exciting Senior Finance Manager based in Macquarie Park

Your new company
This multinational, conglomerate is famous for providing technology solutions for a diverse range of channels . Offering a world-class working environment and fantastic location based in Macquarie Park, this giant is looking to add to a Senior Finance Manager to their vibrant team.

Your new role
Business partnering with both the Finance and Business Unit Manager to set the strategic direction for the the region you will be leading and supporting a team of Finance specialists to achieve the assigned targets and objectives. You will have the opportunity to drive and influence the business by providing advice on the financial consequences of management decisions and establishing the financial integrity of proposed deals. You will be ensuring profits of the region are protected through the formation of effective financial controls such as:

• Implementing and managing appropriate management accounting and reporting systems, budgetary controls and expenditure procedures
• Compliance with corporate policies, local and US laws and regulations
• Adhering with all Federal, State and applicable foreign tax laws and regulations.
• Preparation, completion and lodgement of all relevant statutory filings (e.g. tax returns) and fiscal reports across the Australia and New Zealand entities

As an active member of the APAC Finance Leadership team and ANZ management team, you will have the opportunity to continually contribute to the success of the business by maintaining close working relationships with Sales Managers, to provide value-adding financial input and timely reporting to improve business and maximize top and bottom line.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified chartered accountant or CPA qualified, post-qualifications experience in a multinational, financial, IT or Software industry operation. As this role pertains to revenue recognition for multi-element deals, experience with complex transactions is essential. You will have demonstrated the ability to drive the effective implementation of procedures and policies in a matrixed organisation structure with an emphasis on communications. Excellent organisational skills complimented by high developed analytical skills, with the ability to operate at all levels will see you shining at this role.
