Your new company
Our client is a large construction company based in the lower north shore, close to public transportation. They have large offices with views of the city and offer excellent benefits. Due to growth, they have created a junior accounts payable officer job to sit within their accounts payable team. The team is dynamic, social and fun as well as supportive and hard working.
Your new role
As the junior accounts payable officer, you will be in a medium sized team reporting to the accounts payable manager. You will be responsible for:
- Processing, coding and entering invoices in Cheops
- Daily, weekly and monthly payments
- Monthly cheque runs
- Reconciliations
- Maintaining petty cash
- Credit card reconciliations
- Filing and scanning
- Ad hoc duties
What you'll need to succeed
As this role is on the junior end, personality is most important! Our client is looking for someone with drive, motivation, the ability to think on their feet and an excellent attitude. It would be excellent if you had some previous experience within accounts but if you have the right attitude our client is happy to put in the training. You will also need:
- A bachelors degree
- Australian citizenship or PR
- To currently reside in Australia
- Excellent communication skills
