What's The Business?
Our client is a growing wholesale & distribution business with a growing national presence, a subsidiary of a overseas listed organisation. This organisation has a strong vision and strategy to continue their rapid expansion across ANZ, hence they are looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to take the step up in their career and help drive this growth.
Aside from overseeing the end-to-end finance function, you'll be reporting directly to the Directors to provide detailed insights, analysis and reporting to drive commercial change across the business.
What Are My Responsibilities?
Splitting the role in two areas, you'll combine ongoing compliance with driving new business opportunities. Applying outstanding commercial accumen to partner with senior stakeholders to increase market share, your duties with look like the following:
- Plan and organise accounting work in the department
- Hands-on oversight of activities in preparation of statutory accounts and financial reports with internal and external stakeholders
- Apply accounting principles, concepts and bases to best practice decision making
- Prepare and review financial statement and management reports
- Prepare budget, forecast; analyse any discrepancies and propose any recommendation for improvement
- Help identify market opportunities through detail analysis of competitors, pricing and KPIs.
- Adhoc tasks as required
What Should My Backgroung Look Like?
- CA/CPA qualified 5+ Years at a minimum
- A highly driven and accomplished finance professional with strong operational and commercial experience
- Advanced excel - finance modelling for reporting improvements and potential investment identifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- A desire to be involved in the challenges of running of a business that is about to embark on a national growth program
