The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Internal Sales person with a minimum of three years experience selling products of a technical nature. You will be dealing with small to large fabricators and builders, selling a range of steel based products in standard configuration, or customised to the client's requirements.
Responsibilities consist of:
- Accurate detailing of customer's requirements
- Timely & professional provision of quotations
- Proactive follow up of sales inquiries & quotes
- Accurate & timely processing of orders
- Monitoring of orders against delivery promise
- Ability to negotiate changes to supply requirements
- Gathering & reporting of market intelligence
Key Capabilities & Experience consist of:
- A minimum 3 years experience in an internal sales role selling products of a technical nature
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of computer literacy with both ERP systems and Microsoft programs
- An outgoing personality & strong work ethic
