This well-established, family owned innovative home improvement business are currently seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to drive sales within the Sydney market. The successful candidate will have a Hunter mentality, possess a hunger for success, experience with building strong relationships, managing existing accounts and generating new business opportunities. Based on road your territory will be predominately Sydney Metro however there are no boundaries or restrictions meaning NSW is yours for the taking! PLUS there may be interstate travel as required. Head office is located within the Southwest Sydney region which is centrally located near arterial roads and ample parking onsite for the days you need to go to the office.
 
You will thrive in a fast paced environment and have a proven track record of successfully achieving your targets and KPI’s. The ability to work autonomously is crucial for your success as you will only achieve the results you want through managing your time effectively, qualifying leads, quick learning and having an eye for detail.
 
 
You will be responsible for:
  • Generating business opportunities
  • Infiltrating and growing the existing client base
  • Booking and visiting clients across NSW
  • Achieving Sales Targets and KPI’s
  • Building long lasting relationships
  • Attending Product and Sales Training
  • Strategic account management
  • Participating in internal management meetings
  • Attending and setting up at trade shows and industry expos
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline
        
Key Requirements:
  • Proven previous experience within an on road Sales position
  • Experience within the Home Improvement industry highly desired by not essential
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to strategically achieve results for your geographical territory
  • Confident, Engaging and strong communications skills
  • Demonstrate a “Hunter” attitude
  • Polished and Professional Appearance  
  • Current NSW Driver’s License (Essential)
  • Your own reliable vehicle
