Company:

Our client is a well-established, leading provider of conferences and events across Australia.  They currently have a fantastic newly created opportunity (due to company growth) for an experienced Inside Sales Executive to join their friendly and driven team of professionals.
  
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sponsorship sales activity across a variety of industry sectors. This includes ensuring individual sales targets are achieved while establishing and maintaining existing client relationships, establish new ones and report on sales activity.

  
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, pursue and close sales and sponsorship opportunities
  • Research and identify potential new business
  • Make sales calls to qualify leads and to sell sponsorships
  • Internal stakeholder management ensuring you are across all aspects of the conference.
  • Ensure sales targets are met
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed CRM reporting system
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss and review past and upcoming sales
  • Attend industry and networking events or associated conferences
  • General reporting activity
Skills and experience:
  • Previous outbound B2B phone-based sales experience - essential
  • Ability to close sales over the phone
  • Ability to work in a CRM updating information
  • Client relationship management skills
  • MS Office – Word and Excel
  • Ability to translate client requirements into sales
  • High-level communication skills – written and verbal
  • Highly developed customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and accountable
  • Ability to deal with people across all levels of an organisation
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions
