About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and energetic Sales Representative/Technical Rep for the state of Victoria. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, hands on and can assist retailers in achieving sales targets as well as providing the technical knowledge of our brands to retailers and medical professionals. The sales rep will report to the National Sales Managers for the various brands.
Your responsibilities will be as follows: -
- Driving and achieving sales targets and outcomes within a scheduled timeframe.
- Work at specific retail stores to help improve the knowledge of staff about the 3 brands and footwear in general. This will require the successful candidate to work on the retail floor in a selling capacity, which will include leading and coaching staff as required.
- Call on Sports Medical professionals such as podiatrists, physiotherapists and physicians to ensure they are well informed of the Brooks, Balega and Sof Sole product range, and its benefits and availability.
- Ensure retail sell-through by conducting retail education clinics for key account staff as assigned.
- Attending in-store promotions and grand openings to ensure product promotions are successful.
- Visual merchandising for our brands throughout retail stores
- Representing the brands at events and consumer expos.
- Providing written feedback on stores, salespeople, sports medical professionals competition, etc.
- Sales analysis and reporting through Phocas.
- Bi-Annual conference attendance.
The following requirements are a must: -
- Ability to travel throughout Victoria 60-70% of the time.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- A good understanding of foot bio-mechanics.
*At least one to two years’ experience in the sporting retail industry would be preferred*
