Purpose of the role
As a National Account Executive you will manage existing Ingham’s customers, build and maintain strong working relationships and drive growth
Accountabilities
- Building strong relationships with Ingham’s retail customers. Understand their business requirements and key drivers
- Support the National Account Manager with the development of the account strategy
- Assist in establishing joint business plans for key distributors
- Understand the account, through research, meeting with key personal and providing solutions to gaps within their business. Create new business for Ingham’s
- Drive improvement in process, product and overall performance
- Using market trends and data develop tactics to drive short and long term growth for the portfolio
- Work cross functionally with operations, category and sales teams to implement and execute new projects
Skills required
- Strong communicator with the ability to build trusted partnerships with Ingham’s customers
- Excellent negotiation skills, comfortable working with vendors
- Strong understanding of sales & financial data with the ability to interpret into business strategy
- Strong understanding of sales and financial data, with the ability to interpret and integrate into our business strategy
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw insightful information
- Previous experience in FMCG roles/ industry
- Experience of working with short shelf life product, in poultry would advantages
- Excellent excel and powerpoint skills
- Have a clear, driven initiative and ‘out of the box’ attitude when approaching projects
