About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to lead our Commercial Projects team at Knoxfield. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the purpose of your role will be to lead a team of Account Managers to develop and execute sales plans and strategies, maximise profit margins, grow existing client accounts, and develop new business opportunities within the Melbourne commercial projects sector.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales leadership role, ideally with experience from a Building Products, Construction or similar industrial B2B environment
  • A genuine care and focus on customer experience and continuous improvement
  • The ability to coach, mentor and develop sales individuals to higher levels of performance
  • The ability to engage the hearts and minds of your team, lifting engagement and contributing to overall team success
  • Exposure to reading and interpreting building and commercial project drawings/plans - highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of and exposure to the building/construction life cycle
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across a variety of functions including Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and the wider Sales team
