Due to continued global growth, a newly created opportunity now exists for an aspiring, highly motivated, strategic, analytical, savvy, experienced, performance driven sales guru to be part of the Sydney based team growing our Australia & New Zealand client base.


Reporting to the Director of Business Development – Great China with potential to progress to a more senior/management role in the future, The Business Development Manager – ANZ will deliver new opportunities for Leadbolt, while identifying & building a strong and lasting pipeline of clients including advertisers, agencies and affiliate networks to convert to quality sales.


About the role:

  • The individual will focus on lead generation, business development discussions, contract negotiations, account planning, technology planning, and long-term opportunity identification;
  • Develop, foster, and grow relationships with advertisers, while delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations;
  • Build strong brand-awareness for Leadbolt through your outreach including tradeshows, networking events, meetings, cold calls etc;
  • Initially manage key relationships and successfully transitioning them to the account management team;
  • Provide advertisers with customized and professional media planning and buying solutions;
  • Leverage your deep knowledge of advertisers and the broader mobile app market. Actively seeking information from marketing, product development and other managers at Leadbolt;
  • Advising relevant departments and personnel as to trends in the market to enhance and improve LeadBolt’s product suite, refine its value proposition, and improve the understanding of the market.
  

The ideal Candidate:

  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in performance media sales; including Facebook or Google;
  • Between 2and 5 years within the Advertising Industry (either agency or direct platform);
  • A proven sales track record with strong network in advertising & media;
  • An independent and pro-active self-starter who can work with limited supervision;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English;
  • Talent for negotiation and the ability to build long-term relationships with our partners;
  • Experience with performance marketing.
