Reporting to the Sales Manager your primary responsibility is to provide an effective interface between Festo and its customers by understanding the customers' requirements and the company's capability of meeting these.

You will manage customer's expectations of Festo's service, and ensure these expectations are met and exceeded wherever possible with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

Your technical know how will provide support for a broad spectrum of Festo's products, including pneumatic and electrical actuators, sensors, valves and air preparation and process automation equipment.

What else could you be doing on an average day?

  • Processing sales orders in line with company process and procedure
  • Assisting customers to order appropriate products to meet their need
  • Developing quotations on behalf of the Sales Team and as requested by customers
  • Processing returns and following-up returned items that you initiate to ensure and effective and timely resolution takes place;
  • Continuously improve the service processes and operations by taking initiative to identify, analyze and eliminate issues

What we are looking for in you

  • Demonstrated ability and experience to work with multiple systems, including Microsoft Office products. Previous SAP experience an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role (preferably in a manufacturing environment), along with a commitment to the provision of superior customer service.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of customers in a highly professional manner.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective organisational, research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute as a member of a team.
  • Possess a strong technical aptitude
