Automotive Parts Dealer Development - OEM - Sydney
My client works with some of Australia's largest automotive vehicle companies running an exciting program designed to increase the sales of parts through its dealer network to the independent trade.
As industry specialists, they have earned a reputation as pioneers in the global automotive industry.
The Role
This challenging and all encompassing role involves working closely with the vehicle manufacturers dealer networks. The key focus of the position is assisting and coaching the dealers' parts departments and staff to increase sales of parts to the local independent trade.
The successful incumbent will work with strategically identified dealers and be responsible for leading sales activities and providing direction to ensure ongoing target achievement whilst also mentoring staff towards increasing profitability.
There will be some travel required in this role, but certainly not excessive - perhaps a few nights away from home per month.
The Successful Candidate
With demonstrated experience in the automotive genuine or aftermarket parts, the successful candidate will have strong experience in a sales or operations role, along with the ability to show high achievements in business development, cultural development, and customer satisfaction.
The candidate will possess broad experience in leading operations, either at a branch or regional level, to increased sales and profitability. This knowledge will be utilised to inspire and mentor dealers to achieve similar success.
Our client is seeking a strategic thinker with the ability to communicate at all levels within the dealer network, and identify growth opportunities.
Salary
A salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on experience and attributes. A fully maintained company vehicle, bonus, phone and laptop will be additions to the base salary.
