Our Hotel:

Our upscale hotel has 378 rooms and 31 Conference rooms ranging in capacity up to a maximum of 1,600 persons and is situated opposite Albert Park Lake. This is Accor?s largest conference centre in the region. We offer business and leisure travellers a lavish space to rejuvenate and explore the city of Melbourne.  The hotel blends modern comforts with high-end technology.

   

The Role:

?You will be responsible for securing conferences and events from initial enquiry through to signing of contracts, including accommodation, event space and food and beverage packages
?You will account manage key clients including on site and off site entertainment
?You will host site inspections of the hotel for new and existing clients, PCOs and event planners
?You will represent the hotel at client networking events and industry events
?You will assist with business development activities at the hotel

What you need to be successful:

?Extensive MICE experience and network
?OPERA experience an advantage
?Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
?Attention to detail
?Ability to build relationships
?Ability to pro actively source and secure business
?A commitment to high service standards
