The opportunity

Reporting to the Territory Manager - NSW (SME Solutions) you will work closely with the wider Partner Relations team to communicate MYOB’s vision and strategy to accountants in practice in the Newcastle/Hunter region. You will build and nurture strong relationships with these accountants to not only increase sales of MYOB’s cloud-based products but also ensure they recommend these products to their small business clients. Managing this sales channel requires the building of the accountants’ knowledge of MYOB’s products via a range of different forums. You will have specific responsibility for accountants that are managed via field visits.

Experience required

To be considered for this role you will need a strong work ethic and proven experience in solution selling, preferably gained in an Indirect Sales model, and a demonstrated ability to consistently achieve sales and product mix targets.

Skills required

To succeed in this role you will possess the following attributes:

  • Technical / Presentation skills to effectively demonstrate solutions
  • Well-developed client management and relationship building skills
  • Understanding and experience of an indirect sales model
  • Ability to treat all clients with paramount importance and achieve satisfaction for them
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • A willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changes in work demands
