As Parts Sales Representative you will be responsible for managing aftermarket sales and opportunities for our strategically important customers within the Illawarra market. This is a permanent full-time position, based in Wollongong.  

Key duties in this Role include:

• Developing a deep understanding of customer operations, enabling alignment with Komatsu core competencies
• Actively pursue opportunities aligned to supporting the growth of the Komatsu business
• Maintain a high presence on customer mine sites
• Participate in developing and implementing world class services growth strategies that are driven by our customers success
• Demonstrating the highest level of integrity in all aspects of our business interactions
• Deliver Industry leading levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty with assigned strategic accounts
• Maintain an awareness of Komatsu competitor activity for the purposes of benchmarking
• Ensure customer requirements are continually met and exceeded
• Develop, prepare and deliver proposals to meet specific customer needs
• Present specific internal and external progress reports at regular intervals

Requirements for this Role:

• Strong business acumen, relationship management, and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationship
• Skilled in developing and implementing target strategies and sales forecasts
• Minimum two years of sales or customer service experience is preferable
• Demonstrated SAP or equivalent business system experience is preferable
• Relevant industry experience
• Trade background (electrical or mechanical) is advantageous but not essential
• An uncompromising commitment to health, safety and the environment
