Located in Southern Sydney, this expanding global organisation has a newly created position available in the capacity of Sales & Business Manager. Reporting into the Commercial Sales Manager of Shimano Australia Fishing, we envisage the successful candidate will be a dynamic sales professional likely to have held a similar position in a seasonal industry. 

On a day to day basis you will;

• Become a part of the team to Build and increase sales within our current customer stream whilst continuing to maintain and strengthen relationships

• Look to develop and strategize new business opportunities across a variety of verticals

• Work closely with other internal stakeholders to maximise sales prospects- such as marketing and product teams

• Accurate and timely reporting and forecasting on sales performance

• Manage key accounts including process review

• Drive a positive and constructive culture

• Mentor and guide teams to success- share and communicate a vision

To be considered for this position we envisage you will have;

• Minimum 5 years sales success within a similar senior role preferably with an understanding of wholesale or in promotions/incentive based industry

• Solid experience in sales forecasting and creation of sales budgets mandatory

• An analytical mindset in manipulation and interpretation of data essential

• Great communication, negotiation and persuasion skills

• Passion for success and a genuine interest in business growth and developing people

• Highly organized with great attention to detail

• A true leader who can mentor and develop staff and introduce new ideas, concepts

• Proven track record in a senior level strategic sales role

• Passionate professional ready to give anything a go

• Ability to liaise with all stakeholders to achieve suitable outcomes

• Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Power Point

• Strong commercial acumen

• Proven experience in forecasting and budget preparation
