Working closely with acoustic consultants, structural engineers, architect and builders. Embelton solutions are provided into projects commercial, industrial throughout Australia, New Zealand, UK, Asia and the Middle East.

With an enviable reputation in engineered solutions,  Embelton are currently looking for a results driven,  Technical Sales Engineer to be based in our head office in Coburg.  The successful candidate is required to be a team player with commercial awareness, experience in the construction sector, a strong sales background, driven, hungry for success and looking to join a well-established, growing organisation.  You will also have a full working knowledge of business, particularly the sales cycle and have the ability to influence and negotiate with key decision makers.

The role of Technical Sales Engineer will involve the following responsibilities:

  • Active account management and business development of engineered design solutions in the construction industry
  • Prompt and accurate reporting to the General Manager as required.
  • Giving technical guidance to consultants, technicians and engineers.
  • Liaise between clients and the technical team.
  • Identify new business opportunities with prospective clients.
  • Increase market share within key accounts.
  • Maintaining awareness of the market and new products.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years' experience selling to the commercial construction industry with a degree in mechanical engineering or similar relevant qualification. Applicants who have a focus within the acoustic and vibration design aspects of buildings and other structures will be looked upon favourably.
