Our current portfolio includes benchmark products such as artisanal pasta from Abruzzo, Tuscany and Puglia, polenta from Lombardy, rice from Veneto, Sicilian anchovies and salt, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, prosciutto from San Daniele, Friuli, exquisite taggiasche olives and extra virgin olive oils from Liguria. We supply the finest quality dried porcini mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, capers and Vincotto available in Australia.
A new, exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and passionate collaborator to represent our exclusive portfolio of premium Italian food products to the best restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, delicatessens and independent supermarkets in Sydney and throughout NSW.
This position as Enoteca Sileno Account Manager (Food Service) your responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers through on-site visits, product sampling, telephone and email support.
- Identifying new business opportunities and working with National Sales Manager to develop strategies to grow our NSW sales base.
- Manage client relations to ensure timely settlement of accounts.
- Working with the National Sales Manager to implement sales promotions and objectives in the NSW market.
- Taking part in trade shows and promotional events.
We are seeking applications from proven sales professionals who demonstrate the following attributes.
- Ideal would be ex-chef experience coupled with some sales experience, especially in Food Service, Food Retail/ Grocery or related industries.
- Accustomed to working independently with remote management and sales support.
- Demonstrate excellent time-management and resource allocation.
- A commitment to working with the highest standards of ethical business practice and professionalism.
- Represent our company with excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge and passion for Italian food and culture. Italian language skills is a definite advantage in this role.
- Hold a current, clean driver's license. Please be aware that this role requires a significant amount of time on the road.
This position is only available to candidates with permanent residency in Australia.
