Sales Support - Wholesaler

About the Role:

The successful applicant will provide support to the wholesale branches and the business developers who call on them, all whilst gaining valuable knowledge and insight into the electrical industry and one of its market leaders. With a strong customer service focus, this role calls on the employee to undertake merchandising, event and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Support of wholesale branches including merchandising, stock replenishment orders, RMA follow ups and replacement orders, point of sale displays, deadstock analysis, Plan-O-gram implementation, backorder and quote follow ups
• Develop strong relationships within the Wholesaler market of Brisbane and Regional Queensland
• Wholesaler reporting;
• Coordinating and organising of wholesale product launches, training and functions;
• Data entry duties, including wholesale pricing lists, maintenance of wholesale channel customer database, GAP analysis and wholesale customer analysis;
• Maintain close contact with wholesale customers through effective utilisation of product knowledge, cross selling and coordination of support services to recognise, create and win opportunities.
• Develop and implement account strategies based on current and anticipated customer requirement for nominated targets.
• Monitor developments in products or territory to forecast the opportunities for company products.

About You:

The ideal candidate has a great passion and drive for delivering exceptional customer service and up for the challenge to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This role is suited to someone who has a background in merchandising and sales support, this does not have to be within the electrical industry.

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills, able to manage conflicting priorities;
• A can-do, customer service and team-oriented approach;
• Clear and logical approach, especially when under pressure;
