What qualities are we looking for?

  • Highly motivated and driven, with a strong work ethic
  • Confidence and positive attitude, willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Great verbal and written communication skills including phone manner, email etc.
  • Be able to generate own leads and develop client base
  • Persuasiveness and ability to withstand rejection/ability to handle objections
  • A great listener and question asker. Ability to understand what our clients need.
  • Tech savviness (Office – Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint, CRM systems etc.)

 

Your duties will include:

  • Tailoring advertising solutions to prospective clients who are looking to reach the demographic we offer across our print and digital platforms. (Magazine/Web/Social/EDM) There is also the scope to cross-sell across the various platforms and into the APAC region.
  • You will be responsible for prospecting your own leads and developing your sales pipeline
  • Manage your time effectively to reach weekly/monthly KPI’s
    Example: minimum 30 effective phone calls per day/ 5 proactive proposals per week
  • Building rapport with potential advertisers and create on-going relationships
  • Working to achieve weekly/monthly sales targets

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate, monthly bonus potential, based on your own performance. With further monthly incentives, you will get the recognition and rewards you deserve.

The role is a casual. The successful applicant will be required to work 20 hours per week and there are opportunities for growth within the business.
