We are seeking an experienced, ambitious, hands on Automotive Battery Sales Manager with a vibrant personality to join our Perth branch in Western Australia.
The main focus of the role is to drive and explore YHI automotive battery business and increase sales in WA. Some regional travel may be required.
Reporting to the State Manager:
You will be responsible for: (but not limited to)
- Plan & develop strategy of WA auto battery business to achieve company sales and profitability objectives
- Develop WA auto battery business, proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
- Build and maintaining client relations
- Directly selling and delivering company products to customers when required
- Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
- Producing detailed weekly and monthly sales reports for regional tracking
- Possess deep knowledge of product offering and value proposition
- Take full accountability and responsibility for performance of WA automotive battery sales
- Foster positive working relationships with internal departments
- Business travel as required within the territory and occasional international travel
To Succeed in this role you need :
- Have proven and demonstrable experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager within the automotive battery field
- Sound knowledge of WA automotive battery market
- A passion to lead and to deliver results
- Competitive spirit
- Capacity to work independently
