About the role
To continue to strengthen, innovate and grow we are looking for an experienced Workforce Planning Manager to join our People, Learning & Culture team who will be able to identify how to best utilise and roster our workforce in order to deliver excellence in supporting bright futures for people with disability.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Labour optimization
- Effective utilisation of Riteq scheduling & rostering tool
- Workforce planning, forecasting & reporting
- Comply to SCHADS Award and funding requirements
- Partnerships with Payroll, Community Services & Shared Living teams
- Lead a Team Leader and 4 Staffing & Rostering Coordinators
- Analyse and report on labour including identifying trends
- Actively pursue opportunities to improve financial viability
- Drive innovative process improvements
- Develop policies, procedures and training manuals

What you'll need to succeed
- Experience with a high volume and high turnover casual workforce
- Previous experience in rostering and workforce planning
- Experience in utilising large rostering systems
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- High level of professionalism with the ability to be objective and to influence others
- Strong team player and aligned to company values
- Financial awareness and understanding
- Human Services experience desirable
